Jihun Kim, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His Ph.D. work focused on the development of a multimodal imaging and analysis system based on high-frequency ultrasound and optical-multispectral imaging techniques for tumor detection. He was previously a postdoctoral research associate in Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame to develop an improved compressed sensing-based super-resolution ultrasound imaging technique. His research interests focus on the development of novel super-resolution ultrasound localization microscopy and shear wave elastography for tumor characterization in 3D.
